TBM Co., Ltd. (Head Office : Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Nobuyoshi Yamasaki; hereinafter "TBM") has been adopted by Daido Life Insurance Company (Head Office: Osaka City, Osaka; President: Mutsuro Kitahara; hereinafter "Daido Life Insurance") for use in envelopes used to store documents. The adoption of this product was based on its environmental performance that reduces the amount of petroleum-based plastics used and greenhouse gas emissions. Commercialization of this product was made possible through collaboration with Ainz Corporation (Head office : Gamo-gun, Shiga Prefecture; President: Akira Taniguchi), which promotes environmental printing. Compared to conventional polypropylene (PP) envelopes, the LIMEX Sheet is expected to reduce the amount of petroleum-based plastics used by about 32%, thereby curbing greenhouse gas emissions, including _CO2 emissions by about ^32%*1.

LIMEX Sheet can reduce the use of petroleum-based plastics compared to sheets formed with petroleum-based plastics. In addition, TBM's own factory (Tagajo in Miyagi Prefecture), where LIMEX Sheet is manufactured, uses electricity with virtually "zero _CO2 emission factor," thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions, including _CO2, throughout the product life cycle.
