Japanese Only - LIMEX Sheet, which uses limestone as its main raw material,was selected for the “Carbon ZERO Impact Report 2023” published by Daiwa Asset Management.
TBM Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director and CEO: Nobuyoshi Yamasaki, hereinafter referred to as TBM) is a subsidiary of Daiwa Asset Management Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director and CEO: Kanta Komatsu, hereinafter referred to as Daiwa Asset Management). We would like to inform you that "LIMEX Sheet", which is made from limestone as the main raw material, has been adopted in the "Carbon ZERO Impact Report 2023" published. This is the first time that LIMEX Sheet has been adopted in an impact report published by an ESG fund.
Overview
In publishing this report, Daiwa Asset Management is considering switching from conventional paper to new materials from an environmentally friendly perspective, and we appreciate the environmental performance of LIMEX, which can contribute to the conservation of water and forest resources. I have now been hired. By using LIMEX Sheet, it is expected that the amount of water used in the manufacturing process will be reduced by approximately 155 tons *1 compared to conventional paper products. Furthermore, in producing this report on the theme of decarbonization, we collaborated with TBM's printing partner and achieved a carbon offset of 10 tons of CO2 emissions related to the production of printed materials through the Japan WPA (General Incorporated Association).

Features of LIMEX Sheet
・ Reduction of water and forest resource usage
Compared to paper, it uses approximately 97% less water during manufacturing, and since no wood pulp is used as a raw material, it contributes to the conservation of natural resources.
・ Excellent durability and water resistance
Compared to paper, it has excellent durability and water resistance, so it is suitable for outdoor use such as guide maps and hazard maps.
・High-quality texture and clear printing
It features a high-quality mat with a high-quality texture. Because of its excellent color reproducibility, it is possible to print vividly on par with conventional paper.
