- Evaluation of environmental performance to protect water and forest resources, durability and water resistance suitable for outdoor use -

TBM Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Nobuyoshi Yamasaki, hereinafter referred to as TBM) has added limestone to the booklets "Global Warming Countermeasure Action Plan" and "Walking Map" issued by Yamagata City, Yamagata Prefecture. We are pleased to announce that the raw material "LIMEX Sheet" has been adopted.

Compared to paper, LIMEX Sheet can reduce water resources by approximately 97% and does not use wood pulp as a raw material, contributing to the conservation of natural resources. Shiroishi Factory and Tagajo Factory, where LIMEX Sheet is manufactured, use electricity with virtually "100% renewable energy" and "zero CO2 emissions", making it suitable for various applications such as menu charts, POP, and illumination films. We have a wide range of products that can meet your needs. It is more durable and water resistant than regular paper, so it can be used safely outdoors.

In April 2012, Yamagata City formulated the "Yamagata City Global Warming Countermeasures Action Plan (Regional Measures)" in order to promote the reduction of greenhouse gases in the entire city area and prevent global warming. We are promoting measures and measures such as the promotion of renewable energy and the introduction of renewable energy. This time, in producing a booklet in conjunction with the revision of this plan in March 2023, LIMEX's environmental performance that can contribute to the conservation of natural resources was evaluated.

In addition, the "Walking Map" jointly produced by Yamagata City and the Yamagata City Health Promotion Promotion Council also satisfies the required specification of "durable even when it gets wet with rain, snow, etc." LIMEX Sheet 80μm was adopted due to its high durability and water resistance. This map is distributed at municipal facilities such as city halls, city public halls, and community centers.
