TBM's Research and Development System
TBM has established compounding, dispersion, mixing, and molding as its core technologies. It has established itself as a core technology for new innovations with its carbonate chlorination technology that produces "CCU calcium carbonate" from calcium-containing waste and CO₂ such as exhaust gas, and its technology for enhancing the functionality of recycled material. These technologies are protected by a patent network spanning more than 50 countries worldwide and unique manufacturing know-how, and TBM is promoting the rapid social implementation of CCU materials, high-performance recycled material, and new materials.

- This significantly reduces the odor characteristic of PCR materials used in containers and packaging, enabling its application to advanced uses where recycled material were previously unsuitable.
- Through collaborative research with universities, we have elucidated the degradation mechanism of recycled plastics and established advanced material design technologies.
- We are promoting the development of innovative recycling technologies that enable advanced material circulation, targeting composite mechanical recycling and other materials that are difficult to recycle.
