LIMEX is the name of a material that TBM developed in-house (patented) in Japan. It is currently used by over 10,000* companies and local governments.

Not only can it be extrusion molded and blown film molded, but it can also be vacuum molded and injection molded. It has been introduced at international conferences such as COP and G20, and is registered as an excellent Japanese technology in the UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) Sustainable Technology Dissemination Platform. LIMEX comes in LIMEX Pellet, which is a substitute for plastic, petroleum-based based plastic sheets, synthetic paper, and LIMEX Sheet, which is a substitute for paper. We also conduct sales activities for LIMEX products such as printed materials, bags, and substitutes for various plastic products.

In order to further improve the environmental performance of LIMEX, we will expand the material compatibility of LIMEX's main raw material "calcium carbonate" and secondary raw material "plastic", increase our contribution to reducing GHG emissions such as CO2, and realize the development of carbon negative materials in the future.
