"Bio LIMEX Bag", which uses limestone and plant-derived resin as the main raw material, is used for the shopping bag of men's clothing specialty store "Haruyama"

We are pleased to announce that our "Bio LIMEX Bag," made from limestone and plant-derived resin, has been adopted for the shopping bags of "Haruyama," a men's clothing store operated by Haruyama Shoji Co., Ltd.

The introduction of the "Bio LIMEX Bag" marks a first in the men's clothing industry. The "Bio LIMEX Bag" uses almost no petroleum-based resin as its material and has high environmental performance in terms of reducing CO2 emissions compared to existing plastic bags. It was also adopted as an operating item at the G20 grocery bag Summit held in June 2019. With this adoption as an opportunity, TBM will strengthen sales of the "Bio LIMEX Bag" and "LIMEX Bag" to the retail industry, including apparel specialty stores and department stores, in preparation for the planned introduction of a charge for plastic bags in July 2020.
