LIMEX Sheet 80 μm is about the same thickness as regular copy paper, but it has excellent durability and water resistance, so it can be used safely even in mountainous areas where the weather changes rapidly. In addition, since no wood pulp is used as a raw material for the product, the amount of water used during manufacturing can be greatly reduced, contributing to the conservation of natural resources.

Features when LIMEX Sheet is used as a map

LIMEX Sheet is made by extruding LIMEX in a molten state through a T-die, forming it into a sheet, and then stretching it to form a void structure inside the sheet, creating whiteness and lightness. We have a lineup of products with a wide variety of thicknesses, from 80 μm, which is ideal for maps and booklets, to 400 μm, which is used for menus. The Shiroishi Factory and Tagajo Factory, where LIMEX Sheet is manufactured, use electricity with virtually 100% renewable energy and a zero CO2 emission factor.

Feature 1 Contributes to reducing the amount of water and forest resources used
Compared to paper, LIMEX Sheet does not use any wood pulp as a raw material and can significantly reduce the amount of water used during manufacturing, contributing to the conservation of natural resources that are at risk of depletion.

Feature 2 Excellent durability and water resistance
LIMEX Sheet has enough durability and water resistance to be used in outdoor maps such as mountain climbing maps.

Feature 3 High-quality texture and clear printing
LIMEX Sheet is characterized by its luxurious matte and fine texture. Because of its excellent color reproducibility, it is possible to clearly print landscape photographs and color illustrations used for sightseeing maps and mountaineering maps.
