"Shinshu Brave Warriors" belonging to B.LEAGUE adopts LIMEX Pellet (vacuum and pressure molding grade) for drinking cups used at match venues
Following the launch of LIMEX non-woven fabric bags, the company is contributing to the SDGs through environmentally friendly materials and sports.
TBM Co., Ltd., Ltd. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Atsuyoshi Nobuyoshi Yamasaki; hereinafter referred to as TBM) is pleased to announce that the vacuum and pressure formed grade of LIMEX Pellet has been adopted for the alcoholic beverage cups used at Shinshu Brave Warriors games, operated by Shinshu Sports Spirit Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chikuma City, Nagano Prefecture; President and CEO: Masahiko Katakai). This is the second LIMEX product to be released, following the LIMEX non-woven fabric bags that have been on sale as official merchandise since October 2021.
Compared to petroleum-based plastics plastic cups, these cups reduce the amount of plastic used and can curb CO2 emissions (from raw material procurement to disposal), which are a factor in climate change. In the future, TBM and Shinshu Brave Warriors aim to collect and upcycle LIMEX cups, creating material circulation model.
Background
