■Overview of “J-Startup Impact”

Impact startups are companies that aim to solve social and environmental issues, realize new visions, and achieve sustainable economic growth, and are attracting attention as embodying the idea of "new capitalism" advocated by the Kishida administration. It's starting to happen.

Until now, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry has been operating the "J-Startup" program, which provides intensive support through collaboration between the public and private sectors, with the aim of supporting startups that are the carriers of innovation. In order to foster momentum for improvement and support, we have selected 30 companies that are expected to serve as role models.

Companies selected as "J-Startup Impact" will receive support in "J-Startup" such as support for exhibiting at large-scale events in Japan and abroad, overseas local support, expansion of bidding opportunities, and matching with private companies. You can receive a variety of support, such as promotion of the use of expert consultation services regarding measurement and management of global certification, acquisition of global certification, etc., support for dissemination and PR both domestically and internationally at various events, etc.

Approximately 500 companies submitted applications, and the selection process was based on recommendations from private sector experts.
