Japanese Only - LIMEX Sheet is used for AKB48 Momoka Onishi's 2nd photo book

(Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, President: Takeda We are pleased to inform you that it has been adopted for the 2nd photo book (released on September 20, 2023) of Momoka Onishi, a member of the idol group AKB48, published by Matsuo (Kobunsha). This is the first time that a LIMEX Sheet has been used in a photobook. From June 26, 2023, exclusive reservations for @Loppi/HMV and SHOWROOM distribution will start.
Compared to paper, LIMEX Sheet requires approximately 97% less water resources during production, and since wood pulp is not used as a raw material, it can contribute to the conservation of natural resources. In addition, TBM's first factory Shiroishi (Shiroishi city, Miyagi Prefecture) and second factory Tagajo (Tagajo city, Miyagi Prefecture), which manufacture LIMEX Sheet, use virtually "100% renewable energy" and "zero CO2 emission factor" electricity.
While considering new initiatives for idol group sustainability activities, in addition to the environmental performance of the LIMEX Sheet, it was highly evaluated for its high durability that allows it to be stored with care, and for its safety, which prevents hand tearing. I was hired. In addition to the photobook, the LIMEX Sheet will also be used for the mini card released as a bonus. In addition, we will collect waste (printed materials that cannot be used as a product, such as parts that have been cut off during test printing or cutting) that are discharged during the printing process of this photo book, without going through the disposal and incineration processing loop, and promote mechanical recycling.
In the future, TBM will continue to aim to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society, work to spread the use of printed matter using the environmentally friendly material LIMEX, and work to expand applications that meet customer needs such as water resistance and durability.
