Japanese Only - TBM Adds Report Function Based on Law Concerning the Rational Use of Energy and Law Concerning Global Warming Countermeasures to Cloud Service "ScopeX" for Visualizing Greenhouse Gas Emissions

TBM Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Nobuyoshi Yamasaki, hereinafter referred to as TBM) is a cloud service "ScopeX" that visualizes greenhouse gas (hereinafter referred to as "GHG") emissions including CO 2. , a report function compatible with the "Energy Conservation Law, Global Warming Law, Fluorocarbon Law Electronic Reporting System | Commonly known as EEGS" has been added.

ScopeX is a cloud service that calculates GHG emissions generated from a series of business activities such as raw material procurement, manufacturing, distribution, and disposal, and identifies targets for priority reduction of emissions. Since the start of the service in 2022, it has been introduced in various industries such as plastic-related companies, agricultural-related companies, and real estate-related companies. has also been adopted.

Until now, businesses with GHG emissions above a certain level (specified emitters) were required to submit a report based on the "Greenhouse Gas Emissions Calculation, Reporting, and Disclosure System (hereinafter referred to as the SHK System)" established by the Ministry of the Environment. Submissions were made in writing. However, from May 2022, reporting in EEGS is recommended, and reports created by companies are now required to be submitted in xml format, which is used in EEGS, instead of in writing.

The EEGS-compliant report function added to ScopeX this time has reduced the man-hours required to create reports for the Energy Conservation Act and the Global Warming Countermeasures Act. As a result, GHG emissions can be calculated, visualized, and reported by combining various graph functions such as comparison of GHG emissions for each year and filtering functions installed in ScopeX with reporting functions. can now be implemented in one stop.
